Once I Post This, It’s Official…

Amy Andersson

Facing the Truth:

It was February of this year. I was sponsoring an event and realized that no one knew what my business was all about or what services I offered – at least not from the name of the business. Only after I did the speaking portion of the sponsorship, did people start responding and talking to me.

I felt a knot in my stomach. And started to second-guess everything about my current brand. Price Turner CFOs…what did that even mean?? I’d be confused looking at that name, as well. Solutions for what? Plus, with the double S in Andersson, no one was finding me online because of the unique spelling.

Wrestling with the scary thought of REBRANDING, I attended a VIP Day in March and it opened my eyes to the realization that this needed to happen. So, I’m now in the thick of it.

Step one was coming up with a name that meant something to me and gave people a concise understanding of the business.

This is the first time I’m introducing the name to the world, so excuse me as I jump up and down a bit before typing this next sentence…

Our new name is Price Turner CFOs.

There, I typed it. Feels pretty, pretty, pretty amazing.

Ready For Change:

This name means a lot to me because it is my name. My given name at birth is Amy Price Turner. Price is my middle name – talk about finance being in the blood – who else has that? It’s almost like I was destined to get into the numbers game with a name like that.

Using my family surname, Turner, reminds me of the importance of family. I come from a strong and supportive one, with fantastic parents and five wonderful siblings. Our childhood was loving and fun and every time I look at that name, I think about that.

I added CFOs because we are the CFOs for our clients’ businesses. We are an extension of their existing staff. We are their partners. Our goal is to enrich the financial health of entrepreneurs and help them increase their cash flow. Period.

The company is growing. I have added to my team and we are stepping into the next level. It’s an exciting time for all of us.

I’ve partnered with Jena Rodriguez from brandwithjena.com and we are developing a new logo, tagline, business cards and website.

This is a project. This is a process. This takes time. I’m patient and I’m ready.

Price Turner CFOs.

Ok, had to type it one more time. It’s real. It’s here. On to the next chapter…
