Two people (a seller and a realtor) came together at one of my breakfast meetings, reconnecting after a decade of not seeing one another.
That is just a simple story of people coming together as I celebrate the one year anniversary of holding my PTCFOs breakfast series. What started out as just an inkling of a thought, with no idea who would show up each month, has become a staple. Every month, new faces come together and network and chat. It’s been such a great experience and it will continue! I’m thankful!
I was invited to a new event with a colleague and I knew as many people at the event as he did, even introducing him to some people I knew. I’m thankful!
I’ve been getting out there this year, going to new events and meeting so many different people. I’ve learned a lot, tried new things and I have a major goal to grow my client base even more this year and hire additional team members. I’m thankful!
A client had me do an analysis of her numbers and her sales went up 32% in one year after our time working together. I was thrilled for her. Things like this are never easy for me to talk about. It’s hard to praise yourself without feeling a little arrogant. But I am learning. And after having to do a project, which forced me to write down all of my accomplishments and volunteer work over the years, I’m pretty proud of myself. I’m thankful!
My daughter and her wife will be joining me for the holidays, along with my son and other members of our extended family, but before that, just the girls and I are spending a weekend together in New York City. We will soak in the beauty as we walk around town at this time of year and I’ll get to meet up with my business coach and possibly some other New York clients! I’m thankful!
My work with the Upper Main Line Rotary Club, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and Beacon, will continue into 2020 and I look forward to all the good we will put into the world. From raising money for charitable causes, to helping new businesses, organizing events and bringing people together…giving back continues to be one of my most favorite things to do. I’m thankful!
