This month, we celebrate being in business for 10 years!!! What a rollercoaster ride it’s been. I thought it might be fun to share 10 things you might not know about us and how we got to where we are today.

1. Our first business name was FinOrg4U and it was just me. I worked with seniors to help them pay their bills and manage their finances. I even taught myself QuickBooks.

2. I was charging $25 an hour when I first started. I was barely making enough to pay my own bills. I didn’t know my worth and often thought about going back to an office, any office!

3. I decided to brand myself a little differently and became Andersson Productivity Solutions. A great name, but no one could spell it since Andersson had the double (s) that many aren’t used to. I provided solutions for companies (and some individuals) to make them more productive in the accounting and systems side of the business. I revised my website and hired a Virtual Assistant. The number of clients increased, as did my revenue, and I even hired a few people to be the bookkeepers for my clients.

4. I rebranded again in 2016 to Price Turner CFOs. This name means a lot to me because it is my name. My given name at birth is Amy Price Turner. Price is my middle name! Using my family surname, Turner, reminds me of the importance of family. I added CFOs with an (s) because I knew we would grow!!

5. That (s) in CFOs should really stand for STAFF. We are now up to 12 employees, yes, employees, no longer contractors and we just became an S-corp. A huge deal for me.

6. In the past decade, our biggest time of growth was during the pandemic. What a surprise! The hardest years show you the strength of your business and your support team and I have some of the best.
